Carnival Parade. These were taken in the early to mid 1950's, Possibly called the Hospital Parade then. Note Pass's and the Palace Cinema in photos 1 & 2 at the top. Coronation - Apart from the very last these were taken on Walney (Strathaird, Strathnaver Avenue, and Strathmore Avenue on Coronation day. The last one is a Street in Hindpool. Collage - Photos are a) Walney Bridge July 1950, b) Yachting Pool Biggar Bank July 1951 c) Shot of a gull but a good one of the High Level Bridge, d) Tennis Courts + Bandstand, Barrow Park, e) Launch of the Oronsay, f) Church on the corner of Ainslie St & Abbey Rd which is no longer there and is now sheltered housing for the elderly.
